It's official: Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be in Los Angeles this weekend, and he could make his MLS debut for the LA Galaxy as soon as Saturday.
The team announced on Wednesday that the Swede, signed last week, will arrive in town this week and will train with his new team for the first time on Friday. He will be available for selection on Saturday, when the Galaxy host LAFC in the teams' first-ever meeting (3 pm ET | FOX; MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada).
Ibrahimovic could therefore make his Galaxy debut at home at StubHub Center, and in a rivalry game to boot. He will be unveiled to local media on Friday following Galaxy training.
