The LA Galaxy are in Massachusetts for a Saturday match with the New England Revolution, but star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic not only didn't top the starting XI, he's out of the 18 all together.
Per LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano, the absence is intended for maintenance on their finely tuned goal machine:
Since joining the Galaxy via Targeted Allocation Money on March 23, Ibrahimovic has appeared in 14 of 17 games (11 starts), tallying 11 goals and 3 assists in 973 minutes to date.
