Professional Career
2020 Atlético San Luis (Mexico): Julio made the move to LigaMX and started eight of his 19 appearances for San Luis in both the LigaMX Clausura and Apertura tournaments.
2019 LDU Quito (Ecuador): Julio helped his side lift Ecuador’s first ever domestic cup trophy in the 2019 Copa Ecuador with four starts in five appearances, including starts in both legs of the final that saw LDU Quito win on penalties over DelfÃn SC. He started 38 of his total 43 matches in 2019, adding 10 goals and 10 assists.
2018 LDU Quito (Ecuador): The Ecuadorian native started in 49 of his 51 appearances in his third season with the club. He added a career high 13 goals and 10 assists.
2017 LDU Quito (Ecuador): In his first season in Ecuador’s top flight, Serie A Primera Etapa, Julio started in 9 of his 14 appearances and tallied one goal and two assists. In the 2017 Copa Sudamericana, the forward recorded one assist in three matches. Julio recorded a total of two goals and three assists in 26 appearances for LDU Quito in 2017.
2016 LDU Quito (Ecuador): Julio made his professional debut for LDU Quito as a substitute on September 10 in a 1-0 victory over CD Universidad Católica. His first professional goal came in a 1-1 draw against Barcelona SC on October 20. His second goal came as a game-winner just three days later in a 1-0 win over DelfÃn SC. In his first season, Julio scored two goals and started in 11 of his 14 appearances.
