Midfielder Bryce Duke was acquired from LAFC as a Homegrown player ahead of the 2022 season. In his first year with the Club, Duke enjoyed a stellar campaign as he helped the team achieve its most successful regular season yet, finishing as the top assist provider on the squad with seven, while also scoring the first MLS goal of his career in the 2-1 home victory over Atlanta United on April 24. Additionally, in 2022 the talented midfielder was named to the 22 Under 22 presented by BODYARMOR, a list of the top 22 players in MLS under the age of 22 – as voted on by an expert panel consisting of MLSsoccer.com analysts, MLS Player Department staff and external media members.Â
The creative midfielder came in as the 21st ranked player on the list among the league’s most promising young talents. The Casa Grande, Arizona native is a product of the Real Salt Lake academy, where he first joined in 2016 and recorded 16 goals in 59 appearances. The midfielder then spent the 2019 campaign with the Barça Residency Academy U-18/19 in Arizona, notching five goals in 13 appearances. On the international stage, Duke has earned call ups for the U.S. Youth National Team, participating in a U.S. U-18 training camp in January 2019.
