Fragapane joined Minnesota United in May of 2021, following two seasons at Talleres in Argentina. He scored in his MNUFC debut, a 1-1 draw at FC Dallas. He went on to have a four-game goal-contribution streak (two goals, three assists). He finished the 2021 season tied for third in team goals with five and second in team assists with nine, and had five MLS Team of the Week appearances, the second most on the team. Fragapane made 24 appearances in 2023 and scored a crucial late-equalizer against the New England Revolution in the 93rd minute. The Argentine also opened the scoring in the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup against Detroit City FC in the 60th minute, helping the team advance into the Round of 32.
In 2022, “Fraga” was a part of the attacking quartet that had the Loons on a 13-game scoring streak from June 19 through August 27. In that timeframe, Fragapane had a five-game point streak, providing either a goal or an assist from July 23 to August 20. He finished the 2022 season with seven goals and three assists.
In his two seasons with Talleres, he made appearances in the Copa Superliga, Copa Maradona, Copa Argentina, Copa Sudamericana, and Copa de la Liga. The winger is a product of the Boca Juniors youth system and made his pro debut with Boca in 2012. Fragapane was loaned out to Elche CF Ilicitano of the Spanish second division in 2014 and made his La Liga debut with the main squad against Atlético Madrid. He played one additional season in Spain with Celta B before returning to Argentina and signing with Arsenal de Sarandi. In 2017, Fragapane signed with Unión de Santa Fe, where he scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 55 games.
INTERNATIONAL: Fragapane has made five game appearances for the U23 Argentina team in 2011 for the 2011 Pan American games, with one goal against Costa Rica.
