Career Summary

Transferred to Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai on July 3, 2018.

A crucial component in FCD's Supporters' Shield/US Open Cup double, Diaz was kept on the shelf through the first half of 2017 recovering from an Achilles injury. A classic No. 10, the Argentine has earned the nickname "The Little Unicorn" for his ability to conjure up the impossibly beautiful.

INTERNATIONAL: Was called into the Argentina U-20 national team in 2009-10.

OUTSIDE MLS: Made his first-team debut for River Plate at the age of 17 and went on to make 69 league appearances for the storied Argentine club. Also spent two seasons on loan with Chile's Union Española.
