Career Summary

Mo Adams was the No. 10 overall selection in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft and made his professional debut with the Chicago Fire on April 21, 2018 in a 2-1 win against New York Red Bulls. Adams made 15 appearances and 10 starts in his rookie season. He made 10 appearances and five starts in 2019 with the Fire before joining Atlanta in July of 2019. He made four MLS appearances with Atlanta and scored his first professional goal at LAFC on July 26, 2019. Adams made 16 appearances across MLS and Concacaf Champions League play in 2020.

A native of Nottingham, England, Adams holds a U.S. Green Card and does not occupy an international spot on Atlanta’s roster.

Adams played at Syracuse University with Atlanta United teammate Miles Robinson where the two played the 2016 season together. Adams spent two seasons with the Orange (2016-17) where he played 35 matches, was a two-time All-ACC selection and captained the team in 2017.

2020 (Atlanta United): Made 16 appearances across all competitions. Started nine of his 13 league appearances and recorded one assist against Nashville SC on Aug. 22 in a 2-0 win. Concacaf Champions League: Started two of his three appearances. Started at right back against FC Motagua in the Round of 16 and in midfield against Club America in the Quarterfinals.

2019 (Chicago Fire and Atlanta United): Made 14 appearances and six starts combined for Chicago and Atlanta in MLS play. Made 10 appearances and five starts with Chicago and recorded his first professional assist in a 4-1 win against Colorado Rapids on April 20 before joining Atlanta in July. He made four MLS appearances with Atlanta and scored his first professional goal in his only start, his Atlanta debut at LAFC on July 26. MLS Cup Playoffs: Made two substitute appearances. U.S. Open Cup: Did not feature. Campeones Cup: Did not feature. USL: Started four matches with Atlanta United 2, playing 90 minutes each game.
