PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2024-2025 (Fenerbahçe): Kent made one appearance for Fenerbahçe against Lugano in UEFA Champions League play (July 23, 2024).

2023-2024 (Fenerbahçe): Kent signed with Fenerbahçe SK of the Turkish Süper Lig, Turkey’s topflight, on July 3, 2023. He made 18 appearances (nine starts) during the year, scoring a goal in UEFA Conference League play against Zimbru (July 26, 2023). Fenerbahçe finished second in the Süper Lig standings and the Turkish Super Cup.

2022-2023 (Rangers): In his last season with Rangers, Kent appeared in 44 matches (42 starts) in all competitions, scoring three goals and adding 10 assists. The winger started all nine of his appearances in Rangers’ UEFA Champions League run. Kent also made two starts during Rangers’ second-place Scottish League Cup run.

2021-2022 (Rangers): Kent appeared in 46 matches (45 starts) in all competitions, including two starts in UEFA Champions League play against Malmö. The winger scored three goals and tallied 19 assists in all competitions as Rangers won the Scottish Cup and finished second in both the Scottish Premiership and UEFA Europa League. He earned Europa League Team of the Season honors after making 14 appearances in the competition, scoring a goal against Red Star Belgrade in the second leg of the Round of 16 (March 17, 2022).

2020-2021 (Rangers): Kent enjoyed his best season with Rangers during the 2020-2021 season, making 52 appearances (49 starts) in all competitions, recording 13 goals and 14 assists. He earned Scottish Premiership Team of the Season honors after recording 10 goals and eight assists in league play, helping Rangers win the Scottish Premiership championship. Kent also scored three goals in 12 appearances in UEFA Europa League play.

2019-2020 (Rangers): Kent was permanently transferred to Rangers from Liverpool on September 2, 2019. The winger appeared in 33 matches (30 starts) for the Scottish side in all competitions, scoring eight goals and tallying four assists, including a brace against Hamilton Academical (November 24, 2019). Rangers finished second in the Scottish Premiership standings and the Scottish League Cup.

2018-2019 (Rangers): On loan from Liverpool, Kent appeared in 43 matches (40 starts) in all competitions for Scottish side Rangers. Playing in the Premiership, Scotland’s topflight, Kent scored six goals and added nine assists in all competitions, with Rangers finishing second in league play. He also appeared in both the EFL Cup and Scottish Cup for Rangers as well as nine UEFA Europa League matches. At the end of the campaign, he won Scotland Young Player of the Season and was voted to Premiership Team of the Season.

2017-2018 (SC Freiburg / Bristol City): Kent was loaned to SC Freiburg of the German Bundesliga on August 31, 2017. He made six appearances (one start) for Freiburg before his loan ended on January 8, 2018. Kent was then loaned to English Championship side Bristol City on January 12, 2018, making 11 appearances (six starts), including an EFL Cup match against Manchester City (January 1, 2018).

2016-2017 (Barnsley FC): Kent was loaned to Barnsley FC of the English Championship on July 26, 2016. He appeared in 47 matches (39 starts) across all competitions and was named Barnsley’s Young Player of the Season at the end of the campaign. The winger scored three goals in the campaign, all in league play. Kent returned to Liverpool on May 31, 2017.

2015-2016 (Liverpool / Coventry City): Kent was loaned from Liverpool to Coventry City of England’s League One, making 17 appearances (10 starts). He made his professional debut against Scunthorpe United (September 12, 2015) and scored his first goal against Barnsley in a 4-3 win (November 3, 2015). Kent’s loan expired with Coventry City on January 5, 2016. He then started one FA Cup match for Liverpool against Exeter City (January 8, 2016).

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Kent appeared for England at the youth levels, scoring two goals in two appearances for the U-18 squad and one goal in six appearances at the U-20 level.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Kent joined Liverpool’s academy at the age of seven and made his way up the youth ranks. He made six appearances at the U-19 level in UEFA’s Youth League. He also made six appearances for England at the U-20 level, scoring a goal in a friendly against Turkey (October 10, 2015).
