MLS Power Rankings: Week 20

The Columbus Crew are making their move in this week's Power Rankings.

A familiar face has become a new threat in the Power Rankings. Enter the Colmbus Crew, who used a cathartic win over Real Salt Lake (on the road, no less) to reach their highest point this season in the polls, leaping one spot clear of conference rivals Philadelphia. Colorado and New England are also on the move, while the Timbers fall another notch after a disappointing draw at home.

<p> The weather in Dallas isn&#39;t the only thing sizzling. FCD cooked up a 1-0 win over Chivas USA in 102-degree weather at &ldquo; The Oven&rdquo; &mdash; otherwise known as Pizza Hut Park &mdash; despite coming in tired after a midweek CCL play-in win and a long flight delay in El Salvador. It looks as though the dog days of summer have arrived for the league&#39;s hottest team. The much-maligned Robert Warzycha is suddenly in the Coach of the Year conversation after squeezing yet another result out of his no-frills melange of vets, rookies and unknowns.
