LA Galaxy may have a new star signing, but they may also be holding their collective breaths.
Giovani Dos Santos, announced as the newest signing of the Galaxy on Wednesday, started in Mexico's Gold Cup group stage finale game against Trinidad and Tobago Wednesday evening.
He appeared to suffer an injury at the end of the first half, and while he finished the half out, he could not continue after the break.
FOX sideline reporter Francisco X. Rivera subsequently reported that Dos Santos suffered a thigh injury and was out for the second half.
No further information was available on Dos Santos' injury as of Wednesday evening.
