Gonzalo Veron has not been able to get it going for the New York Red Bulls and part of the reason for that was Joe Bendik's save against him last Wednesday night.
The Orlando City SC goalkeeper came flying out of his net to close down Veron's angle and came up with a big save that netted him his sixth Save of the Week award this season. Orlando City would go on to lose the game, 2-0, to the Red Bulls.
Bendik crushed Portland Timbers 'keeper Jake Gleeson in the finals of the bracket, collecting 73 percent of the vote. He had previously defeated San Jose's David Bingham and Chicago's Sean Johnson.
