New York City FC could be without Frank Lampard again on Thursday.
The English Designated Player will reportedly be a game-time decision for NYCFC’s home contest against D.C. United (7 pm ET, MLS LIVE) after leaving practice early with a quad injury on Wednesday.
Lampard has only featured in two NYCFC games since becoming eligible to play for the club on July 8, missing the expansion club’s July matches against Toronto FC, the New England Revolution and Orlando City SC before subbing on against Montreal and starting last weekend’s loss at the New York Red Bulls.
