TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Reports
The picture of just who will follow FC Cincinnati into the club's MLS era is becoming a little clearer after a pair of reports from The Athletic and the Cincinnati Inquirer.
The Athletic reports midfielder Jimmy McLaughlin and defender Forrest Lasso will be with FCC in 2019, while the Inquirer writes that midfielder Corben Bone will join them in the club's transition to the top flight in the US and Canada.
"As we continue to wrap up the 2018 season in reviewing our current roster, we’ll then make the determination of who will move with us to MLS in 2019," a club spokesperson said.
McLaughlin and Bone both have MLS experience. McLaughlin, a former Homegrown Player with the Philadelphia Union, made three appearances over four seasons with the between 2012 and 2015. Between 2010 and 2014, Bone made 20 MLS appearances, 18 for the Chicago Fire and two for Philadelphia.
Fanendo Adi and Fatai Alashe are already on MLS contracts for 2019 as part of their moves from Portland and San Jose, respectively, this season.
Last month, ESPN FC's Jeff Carlisle reported that Argentine midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma, who was named to USL's All-League First Team and is a finalist for MVP, had also finalized an MLS deal.
