In an unexpected start, D.C. United's Andrew Dykstra came through.
Bill Hamid's understudy made a huge save on a Jeff Larentowicz penalty kick in the Black & Red's 3-1 win over the Chicago Fire last Wednesday night.
The save is currently at the No. 1 position in Week 14 Save of the Week voting, garnering 24.94 percent of the vote. He is followed closely by Columbus Crew SC's Steve Clark, who is sitting at 23.18 percent.
Luis Robles of the New York Red Bulls is in third at 19.15 percent, followed by the Philadelphia Union's Brian Sylvestre (16.15 percent) and David Bingham (16.23 percent), of San Jose.
These numbers will change, however, and there's still time to make sure your voice is heard! Cast your ballot in the poll at right.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursday. For complete coverage of the MLS Save of the Week – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
