Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Tim Melia has won Week 3 honors of MLS Save of the Week with an overwhelming majority of the fan vote.
Toronto's Tsubasa Endoh was slipped a great ball by Sebastian Giovinco and fired from close range, but Melia reacted quickly. Melia parried the ball away and it bounced off the crossbar and out to safety. His save would allow Kansas City to eventually win, 1-0.
Melia beat out Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando, Portland Adam Kwarasey and Houston's Joe Willis.
