Sporting Kansas City didn't get the win against the Houston Dynamo, but Tim Melia did take home an award for his efforts.
Melia collected his second Save of the Week award of the 2016 season after getting down to stop a Cristian Maidana shot.
Melia barely edged out Portland Timbers goalkeeper Jake Gleeson in the final, collecting 52 percent of the vote. Melia previously defeated Clint Irwin and Zac MacMath.
