Minnesota United re-sign goalkeeper Eric Dick
TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Re-signed Minnesota United FC have re-signed goalkeeper Eric Dick through the 2023 MLS season with a club option, the Loons announced Monday.
Dick joined MNUFC after being selected in Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry draft in 2021. In his first season in Minnesota, he saw minutes with MNUFC2. In MLS NEXT Pro, the keeper made three starts, earning two wins and recording two shutouts. Dick also started MNUFC’s U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 match against Union Omaha of the USL League One.Â
The Kansas-native was drafted by Sporting KC with the 13th overall pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. Dick made his professional debut with Kansas City's USL affiliate Swope Park Rangers on March 31, 2018. He spent 2020 with the Columbus Crew after being by selected in the MLS Stage 2 Re-Entry Draft. Dick has made 45 career appearances in net, including one start in MLS.
