New York City FC will have to face Orlando City without star forward David Villa, as well as one of last week's heroes in their win vs. the LA Galaxy, Anton Tinnerholm.
The club announced that Villa and Tinnerholm, as well as newly-signed striker Jo Inge Berget, who has the flu, would not play in Saturday's game (3:30 pm ET | Univision, Twitter; MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada).
The loss of Villa, who bagged 63 goals in his first three seasons with NYCFC and opened his 2018 account last Sunday against LA, will be particularly tough for City to cover, especially with Berget also out. Villa was replaced in the lineup by Ismael Tajouri, an offseason addition to the roster, while Tinnerholm, another offseason signing who was one of the best players on the field against the Galaxy, was replaced at right back by Saad Abdul-Salaam.
