Giovani dos Santos is back in training with the LA Galaxy.
According to LAGalaxy.com, the 26-year-old Mexican attacker participated in Galaxy training on Monday, taking part in every drill during the portion of practice that was open to media.
Dos Santos hasn’t played since injuring his left leg in the first half of LA’s season-opening win against D.C. United on March 6. LA will return to action on Saturday, when they travel to Canada to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place (10 pm ET; MLS LIVE in the US, TSN2 in Canada).
Though, per OPTA Sports, the Galaxy's winning percentage last season was similar in games dos Santos appeared (40% vs. 41.7% without), LA conceded an additional 0.6 goals per 90 minutes he played (1.7 vs. 1.1) while adding only 0.3 (1.8 vs. 1.5).
